I saw this 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula this morning at a little dealership in my town. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It was winking at me. Odometer read 23k of what I’m assuming is all original miles. Beautiful red fabric interior. 5.0 efi motor (of which I think only makes 150 horsepower?). I’d drive the shit out of this car!!!

190-215hp and around 285-290ft/lb if it’s a TPI car. It may not sound like much now but they could definitely get you in trouble.

It’s in showroom condition (the dealer adjusted the pop up lamps and they were both down when I passed it this evening)
I couldn’t get a good photo of the interior because of poor lighting and glare this morning. It’s ridiculously clean inside and out. Hardly ever been driven.

Any idea what they are asking? I’m assuming it’s somewhere in Ohio based on the Rousch post you had

I do not know what they are asking. This photo was taken in the morning as I dropped my daughter off at day care.
Last night I drove by the same place: the car had moved and the headlights were both down. There was info on the windshield but I couldn’t read it from the road. I will drive by there again either today or tomorrow and report back.

I finally got back around to seeing this car on the dealer lot. They have it marked as “inquire for pricing”. So I don’t have any idea as to what it’d sell for.
